What wakes you up in the morning
As you go to sleep you sleep deeply. If you hear to much noise, why don't you put cotton in your ears. When you wake up the sun may shine across your face and in your eyes.

It’s only a short hop skip and a jump across the Tasman sea to Australia, but there is a world of difference in what you will find there. In Australia it is a multi cultural country. The first people were the Aborigine people. Australia has a popular animal it is a kangaroo and a koala. A male kangaroo is called a buck. On the Australian coat of arms the Emu and the Kangaroo were selected as symbols of Australia to represent the country progress because they are always moving forward and never move backwards. So if you are fortunate enough to make the journey, you will need to allow plenty of time to explore all that Australia has to offer.

Spectacular New Zealand
The Rugby World cup is bringing lots of tourists to New Zealand, but there is more here than just a cup!
The first people in New Zealand were the Maori people. It is interesting to learn about the many different people in our multi-cultural country.
Animals in New Zealand is special like a kiwi.
So if you are here to see some of the 48 world cup rugby games, remember to also take time out to inspect more of stunning country.

Cross country
At the start of the race I was nervous. When I first went in to the bush walk I went through mud and also rough rocks. I ran up hills and rocky steps.
At the end I saw my class cheering at the finish line. Then my legs where very very tired. Then I had a very long drink.

Badminton
Guess what we did on Thursday we went to badminton to get taught some skills of how to play. At badminton we all learnt how to play soccer badminton. Also we learnt how to serve the shuttle and to hit with back hand and fore hand.
It was sort of tricky trying to keep the shuttle off the ground. It will take alot of time, work and lots of helping each other. When you are trying to keep the shuttle of the ground your heart pump fast and you use up heaps of energy.
You will have to rush to hit the shuttle. I thought I wasn't going to hit it but i did. I like badminton because it is cool to play on a Thursday.

Motat trip
Yesterday room 15, 17 and room 16 went to Motat. We went to Motat because we wanted to learn more about our Technology topic Bigger, Better, Faster, Stronger.
We saw a Mirror Maze, which was confusing. The Tactile Dome was cool because we had to figure out how to get out. There were old telephones at Motat and we went to the Challenge Zone too. When we were in the Challenge Zone we were buzzing with excitement because it was such a huge room. My group saw a Steam Engine which was really old. The best thing we saw was massive fire trucks which were different to the normal ones. They were longer and taller.
I enjoyed going to Motat on the bus and I had so much fun.

Swimming at the pools
Guess what I did at the pools. I got in the pool and our teacher told us to swim to the other side. In the pool it was warm but out of the pool it was cold.
When we went in side the door It smelt like chlorine. Next we went to go and get changed in to
our togs. I saw room 14 and16 swimming In the big pools.
After our swimming we all got changed back into our uniform. Also we lined up beside the door and we walked back to school.
